Memories

When I hear the word “friend” Maxine immediately comes to mind.  Maxine has been one of my best friends ever since kindergarten.  She has short, brown, curly hair and she is almost always wearing black.  We’re different in lots of ways; she’s good at almost everything and, well there’s a rare few things I can say I’m completely skilled at.  Or when I say “Today’s gonna be totally awesome!” she’ll say.   “Looks like it’s gonna rain.  ”Though we’re different we are alike in someways.  We both think school’s about as interesting as wet mud.  Though if I were good at all subjects like her, I think I would like it more.
I remember when I first met her.  She was catching Roley-pollys and putting them in a bucket, when I asked her what she was going to do with them, she replied “What we always do, pour water in the bucket and drown them.”  Since I was new,  I shrugged and joined in, in this usual affair of the playground.  But that I think was the time we drowned Roley-Pollys.  After that we started digging up the little rocks out of the path.  Finally they replaced the pebble path with big slates of rock.Because they were so sick of us digging it up.
Though that was eight years ago we stayed friends the entire time.  And we’re still friends even though I moved away.  And we’ll never forget those days in kindergarten when we drowned Roley-Pollys.

I have a few electronics:a ipod, a computer, a wii, and a T.V.I think we have alot of technology now but in a few years who knows? Some schools already have ipads instead of text books. They have the kids look up what their teachers are teaching on the internet while their being taught. Most of our lives are almost completely online. In a matter of years everyone will have their entire life online. This could be a good thing or a bad thing.
